Who knew that Baton Rouge had it’s fair share of quality food trucks? Go-Ya-Ya’s is on the scene in Baton Rouge with a variety of delicious savory and sweet crepes. They are great for a quick snack or lunch while waiting on your phone on sites like https://159.65.23.250/.
On the sweet side Go-Ya-Ya’s offers a banana and nutella crepe (I am quickly becoming a huge Nutella fan!) and a fruit and whipped cream crepe.
Go-Ya-Ya’s kicks up the creativity with their savory crepes with international flavors from France (obviously), Greece, Vietnam and Korea which include a roasted ratatouille crepe (for those non-meat eaters) filled with roasted yellow squash, zucchini, roma tomatoes, red onions, and Mozzarella cheese.
Guess what’s in the pulled pork crepe. Too easy? It’s smoked shredded pork, tangy bbq sauce and mixed greens tossed with sesame dressing. The Chicken Caprese crepes feature thin sliced grilled chicken breast, roma toatoes, mozzarella cheese topped with a bit of pesto aioli.
Those with very hearty appetities will no doubt love the cuban crepe, with shredded pork, thin sliced ham, dill pickles, swiss cheese and spicy mustard.
Go-Ya-Ya’s offers special crepes as well. Try to catch a wonderful crepe with spinach, walnut, pear and blue cheese. A big winner! Seasonal soups are also available (i.e. 3 bean chili and potato/leek soup).
Go-Ya-Ya’s owner Kevin Black’s frequent trips around America and Asia have given him a unique insight in how to execute a quality food truck.
The Baton Rouge food truck scene is heating up, make sure you add Go-Ya-Ya’s to your list of trucks to try.
